we arranging shopping tours and round tours to sri lanka,as my experience there are mane traditional dresses like saree, Radda hatta for women and sarama for men,
you can wear any thing freely in sri lanka. most clothes cost 20$-35$ if you looking more budget solution there are low-quality garments too 5$-15$
sri lankan men's wearing sarama and kamisaya and also western dresses without coat
women's wearing saree and skirt and blouse also gauma
