Hi everyone,

It is widely agreed that speaking Luxembourgish is essential for a successful integration in Luxembourg. Do you agree? Share your experience!

Do you speak Luxembourgish? If so, where did you learn this language? Where can one attend a language course in Luxembourg?

If not, how do you cope with daily activities? Is it easy to communicate in a different language with Luxembourgers?

The arguments against learning Luxembourgish are compelling

'Only' 390,000 people are believed to speak Luxembourgish

Most Luxembourgers speak a zillion languages, and have an amazing ability to adapt to different cultures

For shopping, you are better off learning French

French is the most widely used language in the workplace

So why learn Luxembourgish?

You will earn respect for at least trying to speak Luxembourgish.

You might find that you get invited to more event's

You might appreciate more, what Luxembourg has to offer

You might make new friends

You might feel more inclusive of Luxembourg society

You might enjoy living in Luxembourg more.
