Roundabout left turn

i am having a serious problem, while taking left from roundabout im supposed to change lanes right after the straight side, im getting scared that while changing lanes, cars from back will hit me. what should be done here can someone help?

You dont need to worry about others, be confident and drive.

I had trouble in the beginning too, just keep to the left and follow the others that are also going left, stay close to follow the opening they make.. but as @logicalindian said, be confident and drive ;)

Plus i've noticed they actually take notice if you indicate, even when you cut them off to go where you need! :)

Hope it helps!

indicate left
get in the left lane before the roundabout
when you are on the roundabout keep indicating left
when you start to turn left check your right mirror for any traffic in the right lane (which shouldn't be there! If it is, be ready to go around the roundabout again so as not to crash into it!)
switch to indicate right
check traffic is giving way to you and be prepared to brake if not
exit right at your turn

gets easier with practice!

I am sure that if you have a look on Google there will be some advice on the correct procedure!
