hi!
I am an au pair here in Germany, I am new and still learning German. I just passed the basic A1 and about to start the next level with me new hostfamily.. i just would like to ask for advices of whatvare the possibilities after my au pair after a year, to extend my visa and stay and work here in Germany in the future? I am a nurse by profession in the Philippines. I know a hospital in munich who allow to volunteer nurses but I just know recently that they have age limitation. so I am not qualify anymore. if you could help if you knew something.

Since Aupairs can only be up to 26 years old, I cannot believe you are above the age limitation for volunteer nurses! Maybe there was a misunderstanding?
In any case, there is a shortage of nurses in Germany and you are likely to get a job if you speak sufficient German and your nursing certificate is recognised. Contact all hospitals in the area you want to work in and apply for nursing jobs!
If your certificate is not recognised, you need to attend German nursing school first. Again, contact the nursing school(s) in you area and ask about entry requirements and procedures.
You can get a residence and work permit when you have a job as a nurse, or you can get a student visa when you get admitted into nursing school.
