Studying in Tunisia

Hello everyone,

Would you recommend studying abroad in Tunisia?

Every year, 4 million young people from all over the world choose to study abroad for one semester or a full academic year. Would you encourage them to come and study in Tunisia?

In your opinion, what are the most prestigious colleges and universities in the country/area? Are these free of charge? If not, are tuition fees expensive? Are there many foreign students enrolled in these schools/colleges/universities? What is the main language of instruction at the university?

Thank you in advance for sharing!
Priscilla

Hello Everyone,

Yes, I recommand everyone to come and study in Tunisia :
French et Centre Culturel Francais: http://www.institutfrancais-tunisie.com/
and Arabic at Bourguiba School :http://www.iblv.rnu.tn/

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you

If you are only looking to study languages such as French or Arabic then I can say that yes, Tunisia can be useful, however, if you are looking for a degree then I don't recommend the university system here.  Many of those who have good marks in the bac will apply to international universities for further education.  In the international jobs market place a Tunisian degree is not regarded very highly.

I would love to know what all do you offer in your universities.(i mean what all courses) and also would love to know the cost of living as well as studying in tunisia.

@Mudasir ali > we launched this thread to have information about "Studying in Tunisia". For your question, maybe you should find a list of universities and contact them, i would also invite you to start a new topic on the Tunisia forum.

Thank you.

Coming to Tunisia for higher education is probably the worst choice someone can make in their life.
