There are number of good restaurants available in colombo. I can name few based on my past experience.
1) Dine More - Good for submarines, club sandwich and buns
2) Flower Drum - Good for Chinese and sea food
3) Manhattan Fish Market
4) The Karapinchas
5) Arabian Nights at Colombo 3
6) Majestic city and Crescat food court
7) The Sand-which factory
8) Sen Sal
9)Chinese Dragon
10) Great Wall restaurant

These are few restaurants which i can mention and ofcourse there are other very good restaurants as well. List will be updated time to time.

and you can find number of good restaurants in dehiwala hill street. Big Bite, Burger spot, Malay Restaurant etc

Afternoons and during weekends you can go for a walk in galleface green and enjoy prawns wade (wade =made of dhal) which is very delicious and cheap. There are number of gyms and swimming pools around colombo who prefer healthy life style.

Hi my name is Asha Wijeyekoon. I am Sri Lankan born but left the country to live in England for 5 years and then moved to Indonesia as an expat for another 5 years. In 1980 we moved to Singapore with two small children. I qualified as a fitness specialist and taught aerobic classes for 8 years. We then moved to Bangkok where I taught aerobic classes at The British Club till 1994.
I am a grandmother of three lovely girls and now live in Colombo
