Hi All

Hello I have been living in Bulgaria for about 6 months now with my family. We moved from the Scottish Highlands to a village near Vratsa in N.W Bulgaria and love the laid back lifestyle over here.

Hello back at you Highlander 62, welcome to the ex-pat forum.
So yes the laid back lifestyle I can relate to this I am not quite ready to move out full term financially but whenever I do stay in BG I certainly never feel the need to reach for the phone to check the time.
Isn't it a welcome change from the UK rat race and work to live regime.
I hope you can share some more experiences that you have encountered regarding moving out to Bulgaria. (one things for sure being ex-north of the border you'll be no stranger to a chill in the air?)
Cheers Steve.

Thanks for your message and welcome Steve.

Yes it is certainly a welcome change from the UK rat race over here. The people are brilliant and none of our family would even consider moving back.

The weather is certainly bracing just now lol. But its something you get used to and the neighbours have been great even clearing the track to our house for us though I wouldn't be too keen driving on the roads here they seem to be just ice.
