Hallo!

I am looking for a thread about Malaysian marrying a German spouse if any. But, if there is none, I would want to hear your experience regarding the procedure and tips on how to make it an easier process.

I am currently residing in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and there is no German language course available here. The only option I have is, self-studying. But, how do I take the test? Is it possible to do it online, or do I have to go to the institute. Please advise.

I (German) married a Singaporean - not what you are looking for, but close.
Which questions do you need answered?
For German language courses and tests in your country, please post in the appropriate country forum.

If you want to take the test It will be hard to self-learn everything, but if you can manage to learn you can take the test at KL.

Hi Nicole,

It can be a challenge learning German language totally on your own. There are many resources online
but I'm sure with commitment and lots of determination, you can do it.

Goethe-Institute KL offers the Goethe exams in Malaysia. Alternatively, you can always fly to other neighbouring cities e.g. Singapore, Bangkok to take the exams.

Hope this helps and good luck!
