I played a lot of gigs back in the US, cover tunes, some original songs etc. Are there gigs to be had in HCM? I am wanting to get back into this, not sure of where to start...

I am also interested in joining in on something like an open mike night. I just spent two years in Nanjing, China where I frequently joined in singing with the Filipino duo and enjoyed this thoroughly. ...mainly songs such as Brown Eyed Girl, Beds are burning, My Girl, Whisky in the Jar... I am in Ho Chi Min later today (12th) leaving 14th. I strum a bit of guitar but always appreciate joining in with those who have better skills.
Will be back in a month or so. If you want to look for suitable placed, I could join you for a few hours tonight. This kind of thing is always worth pursuing.
