Hey guys,

I'm new in the city and I'm looking for people to have dinner with me and grab a few drinks after dinner in D1. You have to be kind and genuine, please. I'm feeling homesick, adding negativity would certainly not help.

Moving to a new place can be hard work, more so if you don't know anyone there. Perhaps you might consider finding restaurants run by people from your homeland in the hope of building up a social circle.
Also, perhaps your embassy might know of events for expats from the Philippines.
Just off the cuff suggestion in the hope of helping you.
