VITUR without 180 days per year stipulation

I just received my renewed tourist visa from the Brazilian consulate in Toronto.  Everything looks the same:
Multiple entries
5 year validity
90 day stay duration
Etc
There is one important difference and that is it no longer indicates that I am only allowed a maximum of 180 days in any given year.

This was previously worded on my old visa.

Does this mean that the 180 day rule does not apply to me anymore as long as each visit is 90 days or less?

Or, does the 180 days still apply and it was removed for brevity?

I took this from the Brazilian website for canadians tourist visa.

The requirements must have changed.

Tourist visas are good for multiple entries, yet authorized stays are for a maximum of 90 days per visit (if necessary, an extension may be obtained with the Federal Police in Brazil and must be requested prior to the expiration of the authorized stay);

Thanks.  Nothing about 180 days right?

Seems everything has stayed the same yet the 180 days max per year is absent.

That is how I read it. They must have eliminated that part. You can check with PF on your next visit.
