Question about NE1 visa invite letter

I am applying for an NE1 visa. I have a company registered in colombia (S.A.S.) and a sole proprietorship in the US.

I do not understand the 'invitation letter' requirement as stated on the web site. it makes absolutely no sense. can anyone show me an example of an invitation letter, a real one, so I can see what they expect?

The NE1 business visa is mentioned and commented on repeatedly on the welcome page of the website below.
