You are living in Slovenia, or you used to live in Slovenia.

How would you describe life in Slovenia?

Has it been complicated to settle down, to find an accommodation and a job?

Is it complicated to make friends in Slovenia?

What would you recommend to people who would like to live in Slovenia?

Thanks in advance for your participation

Hi,
I'll be moving to Lju this summer and want to take my car (registered in UK). Anybody know about road tax or import fees etc..?

Any info or tips?
Thanks in advance, Bojan

Hi, I have been living in Slovenia for the past year and a half now. Its been a large lesson in patience and self reliance. The job market is saturated so you need to think out of the box. As for making friends? It's not as easy as it seemed back home for me. The people I have met along the way were kind and friendly. Many of them are willing to help especially when they know that you have moved here. Still, because I am not out and about as much, its is hard to pick up on the language and make some lasting friendship. Anyway, Slovenia is a beautiful peaceful place, dont expect too much and dont expect too little, it will surprise you.

I wish you luck on your new adventures away from your home... wish me luck on mine too ok...
