hi, i am looking to move to the Mahe, can anyone tell me the costs and best way to find a flat or house to rent? any living costs would be much appreciated too

I am currently working and living here..

One bedroom flat will cost EUR450 in the town, or EUR250 outside..
Food expense between EUR100 and EUR200; I mean self-catering or take-aways..
All the services here are of very poor quality, but friendly :-).. And this is why all serious companies are trying their best to bring exats to work here and the government fights again that..
How to find? - There is only one newspaper here - so you won't get lost.. :-) Or just ask people around you..
The population is 80,000.. and the nature is SUPER..
