I would like to know the procedure to apply the china visa, what are the documents required and how long it take to ready, and can I apply my family(wife and kids) application together or they may apply later.

You should ask your company, they have to do this for you. If they cannot help you, ask a visa agent.
The requirements and procedures are changing all the time, and are different in different cities, so I doubt somebody in this forum can help you to get the correct answer.
