Small Business In KL

Hi,

I am considering a relocation to KL with my current employer.

As well as being employed full time, I run a small design and print business at the same time as my full time employment.  I wanted to know how easy it is to set up and run a small online trading business in KL?

Any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hello there,

Well its not that hard but you will need to start up by registering a company from SSM (companies of commission of Malaysia).

Here's their webpage: http://www.ssm.com.my/en

Have a look and if you have any questions. You may send me a message. I dont mind helping you out with some info.

what kind of online trading you are considering?

Hi,
I also live in Malaysia but on a dependent pas, is it possible to start a small business here?

Hi all, thanks for the info.  As well as the sideline my current company need to set up a business that allows for foreign workers.  I've been given so much conflicting information on what type of company we should set up.  If any one could help would be great.  We provide IT/Consultancy services and would have Three foreign workers initially then start to hire locally.  Please help!

The first requirement to register a business (any kind) with the COMPANIES COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA (SSM) is that the owner must be a Malaysian resident or permanent resident.
