Here is an interesting article about an App that lets you setup dates for your dog to meet other dogs and people and for people that would like a dog but can not take the responsibility on a full time basis. Another potential benefit is getting to meet other owners and extend your circle of friends and finding someone to take care of your dog when you need to get away.
