In a word, yes.
Regina, a U.S. Expat who lives in Cuenca, has a place she rents out there via Air BNB, aka www.airbnb.com .... Her unit has been assigned the number 382879.
In Checa, Ecuador, last year, I rented at the Hawaii-gardens-style Pakakuna Gardens not far from Quito's international airport -- a house owned by a Florida-based gal who rented via airbnb.com.
