HSBC is a big employer in Malta but if you read through previous posts on this forum you will see mixed reports about working conditions/ recruitment techniques etc. I have no personal experience though- maybe others can comment.

Your best bet is probably recruitment agents eg Konnect - again read previous posts in the 'Work' section for links and suggestions.

However note that, unless you have a particular skill that is in demand (eg a required language or specialist knowledge), many agents and employers in Malta will pay you little attention until you are actually in the country. So it may not be possible to secure a job before moving here.

Regarding salary, expect it to be lower than the UK. As an example, I work in professional services/accounting and my Maltese salary is around 25-30% lower than what I could get in the UK.

But... I'm living in the sun and I don't have to listen to all the politicians/media debating Brexit all day long, so it's all relative, right?!

I know this is off-topic but just wait until you get to know some more Maltese people. They live in such a beautiful place but complain about stuff all the time. Politics is a huge topic there.
