(This post is on behalf of a friend of mine)
A new Moroccan expat in UAE looking for economical ways to send money home (in Morocco). Options like WU and the likes, charge hefty transfer fee and the conversion rates are worse.
If you can help point in the right direction, which is the most economical way out their to send money with minimum fee and good conversion rates.
All help is appreciated.

Transfer to the person's Bank Account through Exchange houses that have association with that particular Bank. Sometimes UAE Banks offer free of cost transfers. Or do online transfer.

Even if we take Affiliated exchange and 'free' bank transfers, have few common charges.
No free of cost transfers exists, as the receiving bank converts on ridiculous conversion rates, "swift code" charges and the intermediate bank charges as well before the money reaches the moroccan account.
