In retrospect, would you move again to Cameroon?

Hi all,

If you had to look back on your expat experience in Cameroon, would you heartily say "let's do it again"?

From the preparation stage to your actual everyday life in your new country, what did you enjoy the most?

Would you do certain things differently? Could you tell us why?

How would you describe the benefits of your expatriation in Cameroon so far?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience. We look forward to hearing from you!

Christine

I would move back immediately if I could find stable work there. I've lived and worked in West and Central Afica for over 16 years, but since 2012 there seems to be less work than before.
I enjoyed living in Yaounde very much [Douala I don't enjoy at all; too hot and too dangerous].
The only country which is better than Cameroon to live and work is Benin.  I'm always looking for a stable job in Cotonou in schools, companies and diplomatic structures, but up till now I didn't find one yet, so for over 1 year I've been working in my own country Holland.
