What do you advise me?
Thank you in advance.

Hello dear.

1. Are you speaking some Turkish
2. Do you have international teaching certificate. ( like  a TOEFL etc.)
3. If you don't have that certificate sorry but you can not work as a teacher here legally
Do you have more questions Pls don't hesitate to contact me

Hi dear
Thank you for your reply. No I don't have any certificate but I think of getting my tefl from turkey.I wonder if there is any  kind of work  I can do in turkey before starting the tesol as it is difficult to afford accomodation and tuition fees once arrived  in turkey+providing my needs during the  time I ll be seeking teaching position....

hi rayhan welcome to turkey :)

You mean hoş geldiniz  :);)
Teşkkürler

In any of the cases, you would be required to have a work permit in order to work.

The best starting advice would be to find work with a work provided by the employer before coming to Turkey.

The best place to starting searching for a job is online.

Good luck

Hi,

I am Naila and have recently relocated to Istanbul from Pakistan. I am still trying to get the hang of how things work here. language is quite a challenge as people hardly understand basic English here.  Which to me came as quite a surprise considering the number of tourists visiting this city. Anyway, would love to get to know some like minded individuals. Most of of would love to get some advice on how to learn  Turkish language as that is #1 on my priority list at the moment.

Regards,

Naila

Hi Naila,

Considering the language structure of Turkish is remarkably different from both Urdu and English, it would be best to learn it from an institute or a private teacher. There are multiple schools such as Dilmer, Tomer, EFINST, Royal and Kedicat.
Multiple universities also offer Turkish language courses.

However the most efficient way would be finding an institute in your area considering the size of Istanbul.

Hope the list is helpful.
Good luck
