Puerto Rico Income tax forms

Does anyone know where we might be able to obtain Puerto Rico income tax forms (like in the U.S., the individual state forms to file with our Federal return}?

Do we get them from our Municipal office of the town we live in or somewhere else? No one seems to know.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Tonie

Last I heard they wanted you to file online.

Thanks Rey, I will look into it.

They dont want you to file via paper without first getting permission is what i read. How wffective is the site for filling online? I have no idea. Maybe another member can comment on that.

Yes they do.  Unfortunately, all the forms seem to be in Spanish.  Has anyone found a way to file online in English?

thanks!
David

You think you can only get them on line PR.Gov I think.  I'll see if I can find the exact Web site.  Franky it's just as easy to go to H&R block in any K mart... I'll let u know if I find the site.

Thank you all for your replies. I will look on that site to see what has to be done.

We filed online, it was quick and easy.

Hope this link helps!

You can probably get one from anyone that does taxes down here.

I have friends that have searched extensively for forms in English - I don't think they have them. H&R Block!

They don't.  I've been asking for six years.  It's ridiculous

The site is in English as well. I'm going to use it thus year.

A free service by other than the government would make me nervous. They would have everything they need to steal your identity. How do they make money? How they protect your information? Or is this just a free demo that you need to pay for the real thing?

taxmania.com which was mentioned in another post allows you to fill out the forms in English.

As suggested by someone. H&r block is a Kmart locations

For IRS Federal 1040, the deadline for 2015 tax year is 4-18-2016.   What is the deadline for Puerto Rico and how to file an extension for the PR return?

This year, the US FEDERAL tax deadline falls on April 18, 2016. That's the deadline to file personal tax returns (such as Form 1040) with the Internal Revenue Service. Normally, the deadline is April 15th. But this year, April 15th is Emancipation Day, a legal holiday in the District of Columbia. Under a special rule, whenever the tax deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday, the tax deadline is moved to the next business day, which this year is Monday, April 18, 2016. (That special rule, by the way, is section 7503 of the Internal Revenue Code.)

When you pay your PR taxes or PR estimated taxes online with a credit card, does it charge you a fee?   Do it go as a cash advance or as a purchase?
