Looking for double room in Mosta. Not having much luck.

Hi guys,

I arrive in Malta on the 4th, staying in a hotel for a week to then find somewhere to live in shared accom.

My place of work is in Mosta. But I seem to be really struggling to find anyone offering any kind of room let alone a double room in modern apartment.

I will not be driving, and to be honest I am pretty Chlostrophobic so although I am happy to catch a bus to Mosta, a long busy journey is on a packed hot bus is my worst fear.

Can anyone suggest towns tht are walking distance to Mosta where I could maybe look. Also towns that are only a short bus ride where it may be more likely that I could find an room.

Naxxar or Lija - Lija is a student area so you'll probably find something there.

I second Naxxar. Mosta is about 15min walk from where I live :-)

I have heard from other people that it can be difficult to find a room in Malta and if you do there will be no rental agreement in most cases. No proof of address = no residency card. Have you tried looking for cheap 1 bed flats? What's your budget?
