Hiya I am Colin I am a single male who is thinking of moving to Spain Alicante or Altea areas were the places I was thinking of I have never been to those places before I don't need a job as I have sufficient funding can you recommend a nice reasonable price accommodation long term please thanks in advance

You can get some good deals on long stay b and bs this may give you time to explore and decide on an area that is right for you

Sorry if this sounds too obvious but I suggest you choose a town, go there and stay in a hostal (see:- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hostal) hotel etc and explore the area. Then you can can decide what is right for you.
