After March 2016 Brazilians wishing to enter Canada for the purpose of tourism will no longer require a Visit Visa, provided that:

1.  They hold a non-Immigrant visa for the United States of America; or
2.  They have held a Canadian Visit Visa in the past; or
3.  They have visited Canada within the past ten years.

The visitor must have a valid, machine readable passport, and it must be the same passport that was used when applying for the eTA. The eTA costs $7 CAD.

Other requirements for entry to Canada include:

have a valid travel document, such as a passport,
    be in good health,
have no criminal or immigration-related convictions,
convince an immigration officer that you have ties—such as a job, home, financial assets or family—that will take you back to your home country,
convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit, and
have enough money for your stay. (The amount of money you will need can vary. It depends on things such as how long you will stay, and whether you will stay in a hotel, or with friends or relatives.)

You may also need a:

    medical exam and
letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada.

Applying online is easy, requires a credit card:   http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta-start.asp

NOTE: The eTA program only applies to those individuals who are arriving by AIR.
