Best cities to live in Lithuania

I live in the old town of Vilnius and can highly recommend it. The quality of life is quite high, it is affordable compared to the rest of Europe. Of course, it will be more affordable outside of the old town and even in other cities.  But then many expats will find the quality of life to be lower. The old town is like a city within a city. It is beautiful, calm, clean air, good infrastructure. Airport and central train stations are close by.

But coming here without a job will probably be difficult for many foreigners. It will be difficult to work without knowing the local language and it is not an easy language to quickly learn.
