We are in Cabarete and would like to view the expat community between Cabarete and Sousa that you all refer to. Can anyone tell me where to start?

I believe it is called, "El Choco" Probably selled it wrong, but that is how it is pronounced. Others ore on the beach side of the road. Just look for developed groups of buildings. Good luck & laugh a lot, hugs too!

If you are talking about gated communities there is Sea Horse Ranch, Haciendas El Choco, Aqua Dulce, Casa Linda, Hispaniola, Sunset valley (former Terramar). Semi gated are Perla Marina, Lomas Marones, Playa laguna.
Not sure what you are looking for. We have lived between Sosua and Cabarete for the last almost 10 years full time.
