We are planning to stay in NL for a long time, is it a good idea to put my kids to a dutch school? Their ages are 6&4 years old

Guess it depends what you mean by a long-time and what education you want. International schools are very, very expensive. Our kids went to a Dutch school; never had a problem. They will learn Dutch and make friends quickly, you'll meet other Dutch mums which will help you make friends, learn the language and find out about local shops/markets. Dutch qualifications are pretty much internationally recognised; I would recommend Dutch schools.
