Swedish driving license

Hı Guys,
What are aspects to replace my driving license with Swedish one? Thanks for advices..

Hi,

You can only exchange your foreign license for a Swedish one if it's issued in a country in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or Japan. If it's not, then you're still allowed to drive with it until you've been living in Sweden for a year. This makes it easier to practice for your test, of course. As I understand it, if you take the behind-the-wheel test during your first year in Sweden, you could drive your car to the test using your foreign license, and drive away even if you fail. :)

For some reason, Swedish police are expected to understand Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, English, German, and French. If your license is written in another language than that, you'll need some kind of official translation. If your license doesn't have a photograph, you'll also need to bring some other form of ID.

I hope that helps!

Thank you very helpful,  kindness of you.
Cheers from Goteborg 👍😊
