Hi all:
If I've posted this wrong or something I apologize.

We are going for a 10 day vacation to Cabarete leaving on the 21st. It's our 4th visit here staying in a lovely condo. We like the non resort atmosphere and enjoy having a degree of self sufficiency.

A serious consideration for us is possibly buying a property in this area. I'm also very interested in the Las Terrenas area.. or for that matter any other ideas people here might have.

What I'm wondering is how would one go about finding a reputable real estate consultant? I remember several years ago meeting a helpful guy in Kay's coffee shop from Canada and he gave me his card but of course I lost it long ago.

Does anyone here have any expertise in that area, or could you recommend a contact for that purpose ?

Do you mean someone to inspect the integrity of the structure & its systems? Upon my return I'm qualified for such as well as construction manager. From flow charts to final C.O.. will be avaiable for this type of consulting. If you mean an agent, talk to Bob K, he knows a lot of people in this area as well as having been in the business. Thanks Gypsy... depends on what we do.. at some point we may need that expertise... but for now we are looking for someone who knows the market and what is value and what isn't.
