I see that Cuenca has a large expat community of 5,000 people but only 93 members. What not more? Is their expat events or socializing of some kind?
I have a concern about health care. I know there is a basic health which is questionable. What about the next tier of health care directly with the hospital and approximate cost and quality? What is the best hospital in Cuenca?
I am familiar with Salinas Ecuador as I have travelled to Salinas EC for 5 years. I may consider a change in venues in a few years.

I am guessing most people register in the "Ecuador" forum rather in the "Cuenca" forum. Has no real significance in my mind.
