Anyone know what the import tax is for electronic goods (Android Tablet)) if over $200 limit?
Considering choice of two . one just under S200 but think local sales tax at purchase point and perhaps shipping cost may be added for customs purposes, which would make it over 200.
Other choice is one for $249, (preferred option)...what would be the tax on either of the items?
And how is the import tax paid, separate or is it collected by courier company on delivery?

Anything over 200 US including delivery attracts duty of about 40% and ITBIS of 18% on electronics

Duty may vary but ITBIS is 18%. I tell folks on electronics add about 40%-50% of the value (Not what you paid for it on sale) of the item shipped.

Mmmh pretty heavy tax, think better look for something under $200 !
