Shopping at the Metro in Danang

I was asked if a foreigner can apply for a shopping card at Metro in Danang.

I thought I put it here so people more informed with the situation can comment on.

Sometime ago shopping at Metro required a card. It's more like an exclusive buying club, especially for business owner, where you can buy quality domestic produce or imported goods and with volume discounts.

These days it's not so any more. Last time I was there shopping I didn't need a Metro card.
But if you want discount, you probably still need to show your Metro card.

I believe anyone who has a local address can apply for a Metro card.

How much of a discount do you get with a Metro card?

Last time I went, noticed the bill was higher than shopping at Lotto mkt for the same items though Metro seems more convenient in my opinion.
