Danish language

hello everyone
i m still living in Spain but would like to join my danish boyfriend
i m doing duolingo exercises everyday to learn danish and reading danish magazines...so the passive knowledge is growing....but the duolingo is quite slow and nit sufficient....does someone know about another solution to learn sanish ftom distance? it is especially the pronouncing which is the big pain...
Rosetta stone has ni danish course
Babbel only vocabulary
...
thanks for all very welcome tips

Hi,

I would say, you most likely need to be in Demark to do that. It's not an easy language to just learn by distance.

You can try to watch some documentary with Danish language on YouTube to see how good you are in understanding.

Pronunciation wise, you need to speak with a native to know if what you are saying make sense or not.

Also when you come to live in Denmark you will have free danish language course for 3 years. You can learn much faster there most likely.

Hope this helps,
JF

I have found these sites to you. Maybe, they can help you a step ahead.

I have tried to copy a Danish text and put it into Google Translator and let this one read the text aloud. Actually, I was surprised by the quality. Try yourself.

You can ask on a single word on this site:

Happy learning!

Dear Xeeschan,

Could you help me with this IELTS query?
I am from Pakistan and confused about which module of IELTS is accepted in GREEN card Program of Denmark( Academic module or General Module). Could you please shed some light?

Thanks and Regards,
Zasad

Hello Zasad,

Please apply for IELTS-GENERAL and score 6.5 to get 40 Points.

Thanks

This is great..thank you.

Welcome:)

As suggested by some of the fellow members, practising danish with natives is the only way to learn this language.

The websites and mobiles app do help to build vocabulary.

Hi Zasad,

I am sorry about late reply. Recently I had been off the forum and unable to respond in time.

I would say yashkrish is right and the General module should apply, though it would be best to confirm from concerned authorities.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to ask.

Also, keep in mind that you are off topic here as the thread is about Language exchange. You may want to post/search in other related threads.

Good luck
