Please advise on best Bank for an Expat to open Salary account

As for my experience, the best is the NCB Bank. I am using it since I start working in Saudi and it is very convenient. You can link it to Quickpay and you can send money online or phone banking with the same charges as with the remittance centers. I also tried Al Rajhi and SABB before but for me NCB (Al Ahli) is the best.

Best is SAAB, but to open an account it's a headache...

SAMBA provides you good exchange rates with cheap service charges but limited offices.

NCB are plenty across the Kingdom for remittances to your home country but your exchange rates are a tad less (10-15 halala) and service fee a little high than SAMBA.

Then you have the Al Rajhi and the ANB...

Ask which account your company holds and use that...
