Hi all,

It is unfortunate you are in such a position.

From my understanding you should review your contract closely to see the terms of your ability to resign.  You can address questions to the person you report to at work.  Since everyone's contract is different, it is hard to tell you exactly what you can and cannot do.  Hopefully someone else can be more specific.

Until then, here are 2 recent threads in this forum with people asking nearly the identical question.  Perhaps you will find some answers in these:

Best of luck!

Hi,

If its mentioned on your agreement they should not charge you then.

What would be a better idea to quit directly or wait for an opportunity with some patience and then quit

Hello,

It would be good to get a offer in hand and then put down my papers. But it will also depend on the current working condition  if its too much to take and your mentally not ok with working better quit and refresh at home for a while (if you have enough savings and can manage your family back home).

Good luck
