Procedure of Employer

thanks for your reply Ali, could you pls enlighten me with employers procedure for applying visa?

It has been 3 months now, that employer took my passport copies for applying visa, but till date their is no update in visa process, is the delay very normal in KSA?

Does he get visa from government ?

Few companies may not have available visa and would need to apply...If so it'll take time...Depends on your luck..

If they have an available visa they should've sent you an e wakkala by now...

What happens is maybe the employer has applied but sometimes it gets rejected as KSA is trying to promote local hiring in terms of Saudi nationals...

Talk to your hr and find out what the actual issue is...

Be patient...That's the key for KSA...

The visa process takes a lot of time due to varied reasons. The company needs to provide justification as to why they need the visa, from which country and in which category and why they are hiring this instead of a local national / employee. They also need to show their current nationalization and tax paid certifications. The visa application will be reviewed by the MOL based on all these factors and then they will issue the visa. This whole process can take upto a min of 3 months.
