Hi Everyone,

I'm planning on leasing a car. But I wanted to make sure of International Authorization to Drive policies of Saudi banks especially ANB and NCB(Alahli).

As per their representatives I need to produce an assurance letter from my sponsor in order for them to give me permission letter to drive out of country. But from my colleagues/friends I've heard different stories that I don't need to produce such kinda assurances from sponsor.

Please share if anyone of you have any experiences lately regarding international traveling on leased cars.

Also which bank you suggest I should go with. I'm going for Hyundai.

My understanding is you just have to show Exit Re-entry maximum along with the fee. If the assurance is for employee still working with employer, then Exit Re-entry should be enough to proof that.

I have not heard that you need such letter. But unfortunately, I have no experience to confirm that.
