Obtaining an Omani Driving License- URGENT

Dear Professional Colleagues,

I am holding an Indian Driving License for Four Wheeler and Two Wheeler issued in the year 2009(Card Type). Now I am residing in Muscat and got a job also. I am planning to avail an Omani Driving License. Could you please suggest which are the tests which can be exempted for obtaining an Omani Driving License where I hold an valid Indian Driving License. How can the same be attested in Oman from Indian Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.?

Hi shyamal008,

Since the last couple of months, ROP has revoked the exemptions provided earlier.

Now you would have to take all the tests irrespective of whether you hold a valid Indian driving licence or not.
