Hi all,

I would like to know if there are any good, not overly-commercialized art galleries. I would like to buy some nice oil paintings but not over-pay for those by the "masters". However, there is also an investment aspect to my purchase, so up-and-coming new masters would be good!

Bottomline, looking for galleries that:
- NOT overly-priced, overly-commercialized
- have good selection of local oil paintings
- house up-and-coming new masters

Hi --
If you are not limited to just oil paintings
I'd highly recommend the xQ hand embroidery village.
Awesome work.
A bit pricey, but stunning colors and technique.
I never visited the one here in Saigon,
but I went to the one in Da Lat.
It was spectacular just to look at.
Well worth the visit for any foreign tourists.

I'd post some of my pictures but I think it might be

The work is truly worth a visit.
