Hey, I just discovered that there exists a Europe forum here!
Now let me start a new discussion about the current refugee crisis:
What do you think about it?
Should or shouldn't European countries welcome refugees, and in which numbers?
How should they be treated?
What can be done to integrate them better?
In the long run, will Europe profit from the new arrivals, as most immigrant nations in the past did, or will they be a drag on Europe's resources, as many right-wing politicians fear?
Should Europe get involved in the refugee's source countries to prevent people from wanting to leave them? What kind of involvement could be succesful (e.g. financial, political, humanitarian, military, ...)?
I'm looking forward to a lively (and controversial) discussion!
