Hi All!

As my husband and I continue to plan our move to Barcelona, we are facing the issue of should we take our electronics or leave them behind?

If we take them, which ones should we bring?

We know that we will need adaptors in order to use our US devices.

I will be working remotely for my US employer, so I will need a computer, printer, etc.

Can I purchase a computer in Spain that comes with an American/English keyboard?

If not, how difficult is it to connect an American computer to a Spanish printer?

These are the questions we're currently trying to resolve.

Any suggestions or helpful information is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Shawn

you can purchase a decent printer for about 50 euros.  I would recommend buying a laptop  in the US as it will be cheaper and have the correct keyboard.   You can order the adapters for the electronics.  I wouldn't bother bringing the motorized electronics (blow dryer, hot rollers, blender etc..)  those won't work as well and you need an actual converter rather than an adapter.  We have used all of our USA, laptops, ipad etc for 3 years around the world.  :-)
