Hi, does anybody know what is happening with the Windtower constructions (Windtower 1 and 2) in JLT? Few months back I could still see some - if only very little - movement going on, but now it looks completely abandoned. They even removed the boards. I have paid 80% of the total price!! Anybody in the same boat? Is it possible to get the money back, cause I lost hope they are ever going to finnnish? Thank you for any info.

Hi I feel for you. I bought a one bed duplex back in 2007 and sold it in 2008 when each day I drove by and could not see any work being done. Unfortunately, I have herd that the owner of wind Dr Aziz had used the money people put down and payment towards there investments to buy other assets and land and as this money was not in an escrow account it has been spent and you have very little hope of getting a refund. You can go and make a complaint to RERA.

Good Luck!
