I would like to know if anyone else managed to open a bank account before going to Belgium? I talk with persons from ING via mail and got an account number. I recived from the bank just a pdf with the iban on it. No stamp, no signiture from the bank. I find is very fishy to open a bank account for the salary and to recive from the bank just a white paper.
Anyone else opend an account at ING Belgium before arriving in Brussels?

With digital banking you don't need stamps and signatures anymore but sign in codes.
Go to their website, see if its a secure website, and check if the iban number is real. When you open your account for the first time you get a welcome message from the bank.
