I am a US citizen and resident of Panama. How do I go about obtaining a Brazil tourist visa here? Most of the info on the Brazilian website deals with being in the same country you are a citizen of. Anyone have experience with this?

I am not an expert and I am sure others here will know for sure but my guess is you can go to the US Embassy in Panama City.

Hello,
The above information is incorrect, you can't get a Brazil visa at the US Embassy. You need to apply for your VITUR Tourist Visa at the Consulado-Geral do Brasil in Panama:
Ed. el Dorado ,Zona Bancaria,
Calle Elvira Méndez 24,
Panamá
+507 263-5322
You make the initial application online at the site linked below:
https://scedv.serpro.gov.br/frscedv/man … tbr#inicio
Then you can take your passport to the Consulado for processing. Some accept applications with passports sent by mail or courier service. Check with them first before mailing anything.
