Anyone like poker?

Wondering if there're enough people to scrounge up a poker club... totally informal, of course :)

Texas hold em?

yup. well, that's the only one i know, anyway. doesn't look like there're too many players tho :(

i want to learn it badly

Love playing, it's so true that there aren't enough people to gather up to play. Wish I was in Cairo!

maybe we just need a couple more people... i'll keep an eye out

indeed i have a place but i don't know how to play

Excellent! shall we say the four of us (plus any guests is ya want)- we can teach anyone who doesn't know- it's pretty easy, the hard bits come with practice and i haven't got there yet! Anyone got any preferred dates/times?

I am in
would really love to learn it

when are we gonna start

why don't we start the first session on the beach? Friday

poker on the beach? not sure if that'll work.

need to see when ppl are free

let us make indoors, friday? it seems it needs a lot of arrangements more than peace process.

I have been told that cards are strictly banned in sporting clubs, if you'd like to make a session next Friday either we can play in my house in Cairo or i have another house on the beach 60 minutes driving from Cairo, and we can even make a barbecue ??

Banned? maybe best we just put the idea on hold for a while :(

there is other solution, we can go to the club and bring our laptops and make a network and play it virtually, i know how to make a network between PCs? I think everybody got a laptop?
for example : pokerroom.com/

i guess playing it online not fun as real cards
anybody volunteering to teach me

now, who doesnt love a good game of poker :)
