English speaking communities.Any jobs for english speaking

Hi everyone.I'm considering to go work and live in Morocco.Does anyone know of English speaking communities in Cassablanca,Rabat,Marrakech or Fez?Are there any jobs for English speaking people in these cities?

Hello Starwalker,

Welcome on board  :)

I created a new thread from your post on the Morocco forum as the other thread was quite old. This will help you in getting some feedbacks.

Just so as you have an overview, i suggest you read the related articles in the Work section of the Living in Morocco Guide.

You may also browse the Jobs in Morocco section of the website so as to have a look at the offers.

Best of luck,

Well, maybe the moderator should help me find a job....

its VERY annoying wasting my data sifting through the ads for a job when 99% of the ads are for people LOOKING for jobs.
surely there is a button to click on or select "JOB OFFER" / "Searching for job" ????

people who advertise in the wrong sections should be charged for the data i wasted when i dont have the money to waste cos i dont have a job.....

Hello Aziz.Aya :)

The moderation team helps you to gain best visibility to obtain a job, and as for wasting data, you should rather thank this site for being free of use and who helps hundreds of expats getting jobs and more each day!

If you take a little time to browse, you will see that there are specific sections where you can see jobs proposal adverts and job seekers adverts.

Follow this link and take a little time to get familiar with the site layout :

Hope this helps you out

Try these sites, the adds are in French but the positions are for English speakers

Hi Starwalker and Aziz Aya, after much research for my husband who is english speaking only (I am Moroccan and speak both local languages), I have identified areas where english speaking only professional s can work in Morocco: - teaching (generic english or specialised english for business / coaching /MBAs ); U.S. and other multinationals in very specific lines of work; international NGOs....
That is about it, I believe..... Otherwise launching your own business partnering with locals is another route but open to few, given high capital involved in most cases.
Generally having a partner who speaks the local languages helps and over the years one can expect to gain some basic knowledge of French and local dialect, sufficient to get by with food shopping etc.
I think in most cases learning the basics allows one to live easily here ---- some degree of native fluency is required for day to day life here.....Without that, you will feel isolated.
I would really recommend mastering the basics of either one of the local languages as soon as possible.
That is easier said than done though!
My husband still hasnt learned any also because he doesnt yet live here on a permanent basis. But for someone living here a bit of dedication should yield results after a few months...All the best!

It's the same type of work available for English speakers in Germany. Although, if you can find an aupair job, it can provide a healthy and non taxed income with West Germans.

Hello :) looking for work in Morocco ... Any info ??

That honestly depends on you!
If you want to live at a similar standard as you do at home and want to be surrounded with people that look and think like you, you can pay the same or close to what you would at home.
Will you find a job to support that kind of lifestyle? Well, that's a good question!
If you want to come for the experience, and take it in doses first, to see if it's a place you can see yourself staying for a long-haul, I recommend it. I also recommend visiting different regions because they are super different. Most Western women get a rude awakening when they move here and even when they travel within the country. Western rights rules barely apply here and the same goes for social interaction. So, it can be overwhelming if your a rookie to traveling as a lone female in a non-Western country. Either way, I highly recommend Morocco...there are many experiences to be had and people to be met the can enrich your life in intangible ways!!
