Hi all,
I have recently completed a year contract at a school in Kuwait. I signed a contract renewal for a second year, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to resign for the second year. I gave my employer ample notice. I would like to find out if I am entitled to indemnity for completing the 1st year contract or do I lose it, because I broke the contract for the second year?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

indemnity is only after completing 3 years, then it increases after you complete 5 years. after 1 year, you get nothing. just make sure they dont try to stick you with a penalty for breaking contract.
