So much to do here, so much fun to be had, and so little time.  Ummm.. let me think....
1) Party in Bahrain - done that
2) Ride a camel - anybody know of any camel stables?
3) Buy and wear a Thob (sp?)
4) Cross-dress in an Abaya - No maybe not (unless its Halloween)
5) Go to the top of the Kingdom Tower
6) Play 18 holes of golf

Any other ideas anyone can help me out with?

beezer

Go ATVing in the desert
Sign up for paramotoring
Go Karting (if you're into that)

That's all I know. Don't try the abaya thing, it's illegal :p

josh123

i'd love to try the abaya thingy too. i've already tried to wear the tarha at my driver's place whose wife was cool enough for me to try it; but being in abaya, i think, is more fun. lol! in hindsight, i don't think her abaya will fit me so i guess she ain't be cool no more. )=

Petra is in Petra. It is a city of ruins carved in rock. You approach it through a valled carved out of rock by a stream. I think the stream is gone now. Anyway it is pretty amazing.

BTW it is Jordan and not Saudi Arabia so it should not be part of the bucket list.

CivEngr

Still, looked it up and it does look amazing. One of the 7 modern wonders of the world.  Thanks sparrow for the idea.

true, maybe the 'bucket list' should be for the ME ?

Civ, type 'petra' into google images and see what you see! Petra was recently named one of the 'New Seven Wonders of the World'!

One of the New Seven Wonders of the Worls should be;

"How do the actually get any work done here!"

They dont....
It simply happens in its own special way
Bottom line is, everything must wait....

CivEngr

No Problem

Petra was created by the Nabateans, they also created Madain Saleh which is the same as Petra and is in Saudi.
